There is a lot of conjecture, but an expert either from a company that makes both or third party would be nice to hear from. Basically I want to know the there is no difference in the packaging and packaging process. I assume that they are both vacume packed with the standard concern for bacteria. But the difference in packaging could mean a significant difference in product quality and life. Do the civilian ones last 10 years like the military ones?
