How Do I Prepare for a Severe Recession/Depression?

Published by Kevin at 8:04 pm

Nitro-pak’s owner, Harry R. Weyandt has written an interesting article on how to prepare for a depression or severe recession.

It goes beyond just food preparedness but survival food is a key element.

I have looked at a lot of preparedness & survival websites recently on this subject. I have read many articles on preparing for a depression and this article has very good advice, covers a lot, but is a quick read.

Here is a link;

    I saw the article, too. It has practical advice on getting extra cash and having silver, too. It’s interesting to me that he wrote the piece because of customer questions to him. Obviously, such things weren’t on people’s minds a year or two ago.

    Hi John,

    When I started this blog in January, I was only thinking about survival food for disaster preparedness.

    There were only a few survivalist websites around that discussed preparing for a meltdown. Now there are tons.

    The best and original is survivalblog.com. I don’t think we will see a wholesale collapse that some worry about there. Although now the possibility of a collapse is much less remote than it seemed a short time ago as you note.

    But now everyone agrees there is a much higher risk of economic hardship, and that makes survival food an even better investment than before.
