<description>It is interesting that the Hebrew scriptures reveal a man by the name of Joseph who worked with the pharaoh of Egypt to plan a long term food storage program for the Egyptian people. They had seven years to prepare and during that time saved up seven years worth of food. The climate of Egypt kept the grain dry that was stored away. The only way this program can be replicated in homes around the world where some climates are humid is for each home owner to purchase freeze-dried food. This food lasts up to 25 years and it tastes great when water is added even when stored for many years. There is no doubt that a long term food storage program using freeze dried food is better than an IRA or Keogh plan because you can not eat worthless blips on your computer screen or paper money in your wallet.
